Official OCPAC Statement of Endorsement

DIST. # 10 – (Pawhuska, Cleveland, Tulsa) – DAVID McLAIN – Anexceptionally strong Conservative with excellent communication skills. David is an ordained minister with a passion for Constitutional principles. He easily won OCPAC’s endorsement in his effort to send RINO (Republican In Name Only) nominee Eddie Fields home after only 1 term in the House. In 2006 Fields appeared before the members of OCPAC and didn’t receive our endorsement. He just wasn’t conservative. He ran again in 2008 and won. His 2 year average on the Conservative Index was a paltry 57. He decided to jump to the Senate, where we already have too many liberal Republicans. We really need more people like David Mclain in the Senate.”

These last 14 days have been incredible!

It is exciting to see how many more citizens of District 10 are becoming activated and seeing that they are also tired of the status quo in our state government! David’s message is being received and passed along!

The Freedom Festival was wonderful! Randy Brogdon, Robbert Hubbard, John Wright, Paul Nosak, Mark Costello, David Hanager, Dana Murphey, Owen Laughlin, Bill Jennings, Dennis Casey, Marty Nichols and of course David McLain were among the candidates who spoke. The grassroots organizations included OK-Safe, Fair Tax, R.O.P.E. (Restoring Oklahoma’s Public Education), Liberty Forge and Healing Hurt Hearts.

A big thank you to Art Berry and Friends and Monte Gaylord for volunteering some of the BEST fiddling we have ever heard! They were a lot of fun! The food was amazing, the karaoke was great, the kids had fun playing and were sad when the games were over. We had approximately 250 people in and out all day.

Thank you to Bill Jennings and Dennis and Angela Daniel for donating the briskets, Darrell and Karen Flowers for volunteering their time with karaoke, Homeland for helping us with all our food orders, City of Cleveland and Cleveland Chamber of Commerce for the use of their flags, Debbie Ball and Shannon Hovorka for working so hard on organizing, again to Bill Jennings for inviting Art Berry and his friends to fiddle, and of course to the volunteers who showed up with big hearts, big smiles and lots of energy!

We are personally very grateful to each and everyone of you!

I received this message in the weekly email dated July 6, 2010 from OCPAC (Oklahoma Conservative Political Action Committee):

On Wednesday, June 23rd our members voted to endorse and support David
McClain over RINO (Republican In Name Only) nominee Eddie Fields.

OCPAC is the Conservative Group behind the Oklahoma Constitution Conservative Index, which rates the voting record of Oklahoma’s  State legislators. David’s opponent in the Republican Primary, Representative Eddie Fields, had a rating of 43% in 2009, and a LIFETIME rating of 43%, showing he is consistently rated as liberal.

Money Bomb – June 17, 2010

Back Off

David McLain is for our Republic. David McLain will uphold and enforce our State and Federal Constitutions. David McLain will secure our liberties. He has already proven this when he gave an oath to serve and protect our country from foreign and domestic enemies when he enlisted in the United States Navy over 22 years ago. David McLain is compelled to serve again, this time as our State Senator. In order for this to happen, he needs our financial support to get elected.

The goal is $9,700.00. This will cover signs, t-shirts, literature, automatic phone calls, media and our supplies for upcoming Freedom Festival & Meet and Greet the Candidates fundraiser at Feyodi Park in Cleveland, OK, July 17, 2010.

June 23, 2010 is the day to donate. Please consider $25, $50 or $100 to start. No gift is too small and the maximum to donate is $5,000. We need David McLain in office. David McLain needs our help.

A true Conservative.

A true Patriot.

Our next State Senator for District 10, DAVID MCLAIN.

Eddie Fields has a 43% Conservative Rating From the Conservative Index!

Oklahoma State Capitol in Oklahoma City.

Today I publicly challenged my opponent Rep. Eddie Fields’ unconstitutional voting record, as well his 43% conservative rating on the rating index (The index rates the voting record on a 0 to 100%). Rep. Fields declined to defend his voting record, even though he was given the opportunity. I extended an invitation to a debate on July 12, at the KPPOA in Westport, OK at 7:30 p.m. At this time he has given no answer.

We just want to let you know that we will be walking in the Pawnee Wild West Show Parade this Saturday in Pawnee. If you would like to join us for an hour or so, it sure would be fun!

We need to meet around 1:30 and the parade starts at 2:00. We will provide you with a t-shirt if you already do not have one and some candy to give to the kids! It will only take about an hour and it really is fun!

We would really appreciate your participation and help in getting David elected! July 27th is just around the corner. Now is the time to come out in force!

Skiatook Bluegrass Festival #fb

Hope everyone had a great Memorial Day weekend and was able to participate in a memorial service of some kind to honor why we have Memorial Day.

We have most schedule times filled for our event this weekend, but we do need help filling the Friday slot 1 p.m. – 6 p.m. We need at least two people. The cost for the festival on this day is $10/person.

PLEASE contact me if this is something you can do for us. We would greatly appreciate it!
